Who we are
HazTeam Ready is a brand operated by Henrych LLC, a company registered in the State of Delaware, USA. We sell one thing: online training that helps a hazmat employer meet the employee training requirements of 49 CFR Part 172, Subpart H, together with the documents that training has to leave behind.
The business is deliberately small and deliberately self-service. There is no sales team, no demo to sit through and no annual contract. You buy a seat or a pack of seats, people take the course, and you download the certificate and the 49 CFR 172.704(d) training record. That is the whole product.
What we are not
We are not a government body and we are not approved by one. The U.S. Department of
Transportation and PHMSA do not certify, approve, accredit or licence hazmat training providers for
general hazmat employees. Any provider claiming to be DOT approved
or federally certified
is
describing something that does not exist. We say so on every page because the claim is common in
this market and it misleads buyers.
We are not your compliance department. Under 49 CFR 172.702(b) the hazmat employer — not the training vendor — is responsible for training, testing and certifying its hazmat employees. Our course and our records are built to support that duty, not to replace it. Our full scope and limitations sets out, item by item, what our course covers and what it does not.
We also do not publish customer names, logos, testimonials, review scores or student counts. Not because we have none to speak of, but because we are not willing to publish figures we cannot substantiate to a reader who asks.
How the content is produced
Everything we publish about the regulation is written against the primary sources — the current text in the eCFR, and PHMSA's own published guidance — and cites the paragraph it relies on so you can check it yourself. Our editorial policy explains how that works and how to tell us we got something wrong.
